The Texas state licensing and examination registration portal is now available. 

• All graduates interested in taking their TEXAS CNA licensing exam can now do so and need to register in TULIP. 

• STEP 1: All nurse aide candidates/students will apply via TULIP, see TULIP landing page: https://txhhs.my.site.com/TULIP/s/login/?ec=302&startURL=%2FTULIP%2Fs%2F 

• STEP 2 and very IMPORTANT: To set up your TULIP account correctly please follow this short, step by step video we have created for students,  to make sure they apply for their TULIP account correctly. https://youtu.be/E1AXQmciH5Q

• STEP 3: This is an additional resource to the video above. This user guide provided by TULIP will help you navigate through their system. • Application and logging into TULIP instructions start on page 8-12 with additional information on application process page 88, 102, and the nurse aide exam application on page 312. 

• Once you have successfully created Your profile on TULIP,  the school will receive a notification from TULIP to confirm your program completion and approve your state exam application. Then you will receive an email from TULIP to schedule your state exam.
