• We offer a payment plan at no cost to all students. Installments are paid in 2 or 3 installments before completion of the program.

•  Certified nurse aides, also known as certified nursing assistants, work directly with medical patients in a variety of settings. They are a vital part of the patients’ medical team and are often responsible for helping patients with their daily activities, assisting the nurse with the patients’ care plan, monitoring and reporting vital signs and monitoring the patients’ mental, physical and emotional conditions.
• CNAs work under the supervision of a nurse or other licensed healthcare provider.
• CNAs may choose to work in the hospital setting, home health setting, long term care facility, surgery centers, physical rehabilitation centers, Emergency rooms, surgical centers, ICU, Medical Units, and in clients’ homes doing private care.
• CNAs are sometimes called PCT’s (Patient Care Technicians.) In order to work as a CNA or PCT in Texas, you are required to be a licensed Certified Nurse Aide.

• Distance learning students can do their classes online via our LIVE virtual platform and only come in for 4 in-person days for their clinical practice.  Students will schedule their clinicals before or after they a have completed their online classes. 

• Students can do their classes online via our LIVE virtual platform and only come in for 4 in-person days for their clinical practice.  The online classe are live with an instructor. 

 We start a new class every Monday and every other Saturday. 

• Weekday Classes. Monday to Friday. 9:30am to 3:30pm (3wks)
• Weekend Classes. Saturday & Sunday 9:30am to 5:30pm (6wks)
• Accelerated Classes. Mon to Fri 9:30am to 3:30pm in addition to Sat/ Sun 9:30 to 5:30 pm for 14 days straight. (2 weeks)

• CNA’s are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years.
• Proof of continuing education is required to apply for license renewal with the state.
• You will need to submit your continuing education certificate to the state when applying for license renewal.

• Proof of employment is required for license renewal and proof of continuing education.
• It is best to start the process of renewing your license before it expires 
• If your license is expired or you have not worked as a CNA with your license, the state will sometimes require you to take the clinical portion of the state exam again, or require you to take a refresher course.
• You cannot transfer an expired license from another state to the state of Texas.  Your license from the other state must be current and in good standing to qualify for reciprocity in Texas.
