Who can take CPR/BLS
Any NON healthcare provider can take a BLS course.
It is highly recommended and in most casees mandatory for Healthcare Providers to become BLS Certified. Healthcare providers include; CNAs, PCTs, Phlebotomists, LVNs, Registered Nurses, Paramedics, EMTs, Fire fighters and anyone that desires to increase their knowledge on advanced cardia resuscitation.
How long is the BLS/CPR good for ?
BLS/CPR certificates are good for 2 years.
Certificate Renewal
Student must attend a renewal class every 2 years. In the new and the refresher course, we go over basic life support, first aid, emergecy care tehniques and practical patient care scenarios.
